FAQ
Your insurance company would rather you call a commercial restoration company like Mardenas SnapResponseTeam™ as soon as possible to start cleaning up the water and fixing the damage it caused.
If possible, turn off any water valves you can access. Call a plumber to fix the leak, if applicable, but the faster our crews arrive, the more damage we can help prevent on your commercial property. You should still call your insurance company, but don't wait for an adjuster to arrive before beginning water damage mitigation.
If you plan to file a claim, the insurance adjuster will need an assessment of the damage and a restoration estimate. Calling Mardena speeds up the process.
Absolutely, we utilize Xactimate estimating software, which is a leading industry-trusted program that is widely accepted and preferred by insurance companies.
Insurance companies like State Farm, Allstate, Erie, Chubb, and Farmers use Xactimate to see how contractors perform their work. They must ensure that the repair and rebuilding costs are priced at their proper market value.
At Mardena, we ensure that all our in-house estimators are certified in Xactimate. This training gives them the skills they need to make estimates for our customers that are as detailed as possible.
Oh yes. We answer our phones 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. You will speak directly to management when you call–not a recording. Call us any time, day or night, at 424-222-1544.
In most cases, yes, that’s true. But because our service area is so large (it’s the Southern California area), some locations may take longer for our SnapResponseTeam™ to arrive on-site. All of our inspections and estimates are free of charge.
We provide “dry In-Place” service to our customers. In-Place Drying utilizes state-of-the-art technology to completely dry out the affected areas, minimizing the damage and removal of any building products. Our goal is to save as much material as possible.
This service reduces the amount of material that will need to be replaced, which in turn reduces the repair cost to the customer.
To remove odors caused by fire, sewage, bacterial growth, and other sources, we use advanced filtration technologies, including HEPA filtration when necessary. This system removes 99.7% of particles larger than 0.3 microns from the air.
Yes! We work with all adjusters and insurance companies. Mardena will work closely with your insurance provider to ensure that you receive the necessary settlement and repair work as soon as possible.
Insurance companies can easily process the paperwork because we use insurance-industry software and our team has IICRC industry training. To put it another way, we speak their language, which reduces confusion and inefficient "back and forth."
This is determined by the severity and category of the disaster damage, or if the area was supersaturated or the water was contaminated. Rest assured that Mardena's SnapResponseTeam™ will work quickly to remove the water.
Some items may be excluded from your insurance coverage. Estimates and the scope of work covered by an insurance claim are typically established by your claim's adjuster and represent the amount your insurance company agrees to pay.
We will work with your insurance adjuster to ensure that your claim is processed correctly. We can also assist you with changes and upgrades, but any amount that exceeds the insurance scope of work is considered non-insured work and will be handled under a separate agreement.
Your property is left exposed and vulnerable to theft and additional damage after a fire. To protect your business, merchandise, and possessions from theft and looting, we board up windows and doors and secure any openings. We offer board-up services around the clock to protect your property after a fire and throughout the restoration process.
Yes! After removing all soot from your property's walls, carpets, furniture, and other damaged contents, our fire restoration team deodorizes it to permanently remove the odor of smoke.
Mold remediation is the process of completely removing mold, removing odors, sanitizing the area, and restoring healthy air quality in your business or home.
It all depends on the size and location of the mold infestation within your business. Mold removal estimates are given on a case-by-case basis, so providing a time frame is difficult. It's also a bit misleading to say "completely remove mold."
Mold is a naturally occurring organism with over 100,000 different types, some of which are always present in trace amounts. We remove mold from your home, commercial property, or business to return it to pre-damage or "healthy" conditions. Because of the complexities of mold types, there is no recognized "safe level" of mold.
Also, keep in mind that bleach does not remove mold. It simply removes the visible color from the mold. It is critical to remove it from the source. We attack the mold from all sides and remove it as quickly as possible.
Reconstruction is the process of returning a building to a previously known pre loss condition by introducing new materials.
